Current Projects

Presently Uwe Berkemer is working on the completion of his six part cycle titled “Ré Violoncello Solo”.

He finished the first two parts in January and March of 2004. The first performance has already successfully taken place in the USA.

Berkemer sees this opus as a reflection of emotional experience while dealing intensively with Johann Sebastian Bach’s ingenious Cello suites.
