Uwe Berkemer is the initiator and artistic director of the International Music Festival Dietzenbach, which has taken place since 1999.

In additional to concerts of the highest international level with selected musicians and ensembles from all over the world, this music festival is also very important as the “Cultivation of the up-and-coming Young Artists”. Orchestra concerts, chamber concerts and crossover performances take place in different locations, as well as master courses and school concerts.
 

The International Music Festival “Pax Vobiscum”

In 2005 Uwe Berkemer founded the International Music Festival “Pax Vobiscum”.

The festival not only presents concerts of the highest level with musicians and ensembles from the Caucasian region but is also an import intiative in bringing peace to the region by cultural exchange.

The festival started 2005 in Batumi, Georgia and was continued in 2006 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
